This web page is totally independent of the Church of England and of those who manage and direct its General Synod.
It exists to allow individual members to communicate on issues which concern them where they feel that insufficient reflection and debate is taking place or that discussion is being directed or "managed" to prevent full, open and Christian debate taking place.
Below, we declare very openly our positions and concerns:
- We believe that we were elected to the General Synod by our fellow-clergy and congregations to be servants of God and to work to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.
- We believe that we should visibly live the message of the Gospels in our own lives.
- We believe that we were elected to hold those who lead our Church accountable for their actions.
- We agree to disagree lovingly and respectfully on issues of gender and sexuality and do not debate it here.
- We oppose hostile behaviours between groups with differing theological positions those issues.
